AmyRuth Bartlett, MA, LPC, NCC
“Come, all you who are weary and heavy burdened and I will give you rest for your soul.” These words invite each of us to do that which is most offensive to our proud and self-sufficient sensibilities. Unburden ourselves and receive what we cannot earn….Rest.
So I don’t have a better invitation than that, but I do invite you to come. Search with me for the truth that will set you free and the hope that will allow you to move forward even when the pain is so intense that it calls you to despair. This place is for you. Come. Allow me to hear your stories and see your pain.
My name is AmyRuth Bartlett. I am a wife, mother, singer, songwriter, dancer, poet, follower of Jesus, and passionate lover of life. I am also a Nationally Certified Licensed Professional Counselor. My Masters in Counseling is from Covenant Theological Seminary, and I hold a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Asian Studies from St. Olaf College. My education in compassion however, is from life experience.
Through individual appointments, group sessions and educational seminars, I work so you can be better equipped to honestly engage in relationships, even when they are messy. (And really, when are relationships not messy?) My heart’s desire is for you to be known and loved in the truth of who you are as an individual, in your family, and as a member of your wider community. Please let me know how I can help you move towards your specific goals while we work together.
It takes great courage to deal honestly with pain – not to mention all the questions it raises about ourselves, God, and the world around us. So while I’m sure you know some loneliness since you’ve gotten this far in searching for a counselor, you need not continue the journey all alone! Contact me to schedule an appointment.
It would be my honor to share with you in your journey.
